Resnik

Randolph Resnik, BS, DMD, MDS – Faculty director at the Misch Institute for the last 20 years

Dr. Resnik is a leading educator, clinician and researcher in the field of Prosthodontics and Oral Implantology. He received his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh along with his specialty degree in Prosthodontics, Surgical Fellowship in Oral Implantology, and a Master’s degree in Radiology.
Currently, Dr. Resnik is a clinical professor of Oral Implantology at Temple University in Philadelphia, adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Graduate Prosthodontics, adjunct professor at Dental College of Georgia – Augusta University, staff member at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and the Surgical Director and Chief of Staff at the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute. He is also a consultant to numerous implant companies and laboratories. Dr. Resnik is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and also the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a frequent lecturer, both domestically and internationally along with being an author of numerous journal articles and research projects. He maintains a private practice in Pittsburgh, PA limited to Oral Implantology.

Dr. Caldwell received his BS at the University of Texas at El Paso, DDS and Certificate of Periodontics from the University of Texas. He is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Caldwell serves on the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners Anesthesia Committee and has been in private practice limited to periodontics with emphasis on dental implants for over 20 years in El Paso, TX.

 

 

 

 

 


 

dr-friedmanJay Friedman, DDS

Dr. Friedman brings nearly 30 years’ experience to InHouse Implant Dentistry. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1982, and in 1984 received a qualification in Advanced Prosthodontics from the University of Southern California.

In 1994, Dr. Friedman was invited to join the faculty of the Misch International Implant Institute.  In 2005, Dr. John Suzuki, a faculty member of the Misch Institute and Associate Dean of Temple University, asked Dr. Friedman to join the faculty of Temple. Dr. Friedman has, and continues to maintain positions at both institutions.

Dr. Friedman has worked and mentored in many private dental practices across the United States, and has placed and/or restored more than 10,000 implants. He is currently licensed in six (6) states: California, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas, with more being added upon request for on-site procedures.

He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry, and past Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Alabama at Huntsville, AL. Dr. Hoar maintains a private practice with emphasis on dental implants in Huntsville, AL.

 

 


 

Glenn Jividen, BS, DDS

Dr. Jividen received a DDS from Ohio State University and completed his Specialty Certificate in Periodontics at the University of Kentucky. He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists,and Board Certified at the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. Dr. Jividen is currently the President of the Ohio Academy of Periodontists. He maintains a private practice in Dayton, OH limited to periodontics and implants.

Dr. Judy is the Co-Chairman of the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists). He is a Clinical Professor, Department of Implant Dentistry, New York University College of Dentistry and a Clinical Professor, Department of Periodontology and Implantology, Temple University, Kronberg School of Dentistry, Philadelphia. He has authored or co-authored over 100 articles, textbook chapters or editorials related to dental implant therapy. Dr. Judy maintains a private practice in New York City.

 

 

 

 

 


 

kellyDr. Kelly Misch

Dr. Kelly Misch graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2005 and continued on to receive her Masters degree and certificate in Periodontics in 2008. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, a fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute and an active member of many dental organizations. Dr. Misch has written publications in reputable periodontal and implant journals, as well as lectures on topics such as implants, surgical complications, bone grafting, etc. She has received numerous awards including Dr. & Mrs. Gerald Kramer Award for Excellence (2008 nominee), the Billy A. Smith Patient Rapport Award (2007), the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Dental Student Award in Implant Dentistry (2005) and the Russell Bunting Periodontal Study Club Award (2005). Dr. Misch spends the majority of her time in private practice but is also Deans Faculty in the graduate periodontal department at the University of Michigan. Dr. Misch is married and has 2 busy boys! She enjoys spending time with her family, running, photography, traveling, reading and cooking.


 

 

dr-suzukiJon B. Suzuki, DDS, Ph.D, MBA

Dr. Suzuki received his BA in biology and Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University, his Ph.D in Microbiology from Illinois Inst. of Technology, his DDS from Loyola University and his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Specialist status in Public Health and Medical Microbiology, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Periodontics. Dr. Suzuki is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists as well as Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He has served as Dean and Director at the University of Pittsburg. Dr. Suzuki has research interest and special expertise in immunological aspects of periodontal diseases, periodontal diagnosis and classification and periodontal regeneration. At Temple University, he is the Associate Dean for Graduate Education, Research, and International Affairs, Director, Periodontics Residency Program, Professor of Microbiology (School of Medicine) and Professor of Periodontology (School of Dentistry).


 

Joseph J Thomas DDS, MAGD, DICOI, FACD, FICD

Joe is a General Dentist, who has placed and restored over 7,000 Dental Implants in his private Practices in Vero Beach and Fort Lauderdale, FL. Joe was appointed by Florida Governors Jeb Bush and Rick Scott and then confirmed by the State Senate, for three separate terms to the Florida Board of Dentistry, to exercise, Legislative and Quasi-Judicial governance of Dental and Hygiene licensees. Joe was elected by fellow Board members to be Vice-Chairman of the Board in 2007, 2008, and 2016, then also as CHAIRMAN (President) of the Florida Board of Dentistry in 2009, 2014 and 2017. Joe was the former Appointed Director of the Scripps Biomedical Research Institute in Florida, and the Investment committee Chairman and the Director of Scripps Florida Funding Corporation, West Palm Beach, Florida. Joe is an Ellis Island Medal of Honor recipient.

Joe obtained his D.D.S. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry. Fellow of The American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Fellow of the International College of Dentists. Joe is a Diplomate of The International Congress of Implantologists. Fellow of the American College of Dentists. Joe obtained a Certificate of Merit for achievement, proficiency, and promise in the field of Oral Medicine awarded by the American Academy of Oral Medicine.

Joe lives in Vero Beach, Florida with his wife Beth. Joe enjoys his family, Church, vacationing, full contact Martial Arts and providing pro-bono dental care to the financially challenged.


 

Dr. Vivian Roknian

Dr. Roknian trained under world-reknown Dr. Sargon Lazarof, inventor of the Sargon Implant System. In March of 2014, Dr. Roknian earned the last of her credentials to qualify for a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. The official certificate will be presented to her in Chicago this August. Aside from these credentials, she is also a graduate of the Surgical program in the Misch International Implant Institute. She enjoys staying current in the ever-changing field of dentistry and dedicates a substantial number of hours each year to continuing education.


 

dr jack hahn Dr. Jack Hahn

Dr. Jack Hahn earned his DDS from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and completed postgraduate coursework at Boston University, New York University, the University of Michigan and the University of Kentucky. A pioneer in the field of implant dentistry, Dr. Hahn has been placing and restoring implants for 45 years. Dr. Hahn developed the NobelReplace® dental implant system for Nobel Biocare and oversaw the design of the new Hahn™ Tapered Implant. Recipient of the Aaron Gershkoff Lifetime Achievement Award in implant dentistry and the Venue and LEAD magazine Healthcare Leadership Award, Dr. Hahn was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in June 2015. Dr. Hahn is also editor-in-chief and clinical editor of Inclusive magazine. He lectures to dentists around the world and maintains a private practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. Robert J. Buch, DDS, MD

Dr. Robert Buch relocated from Virginia and is enjoying the sunny Arizona climate. He and his wife enjoy travel, cultural events and hiking with their dog.

Dr. Buch received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS), in 1992, from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, in Richmond, Virginia. After serving 3 years as an active duty dentist in the U.S. Navy, he completed a four year Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical residency, in 1999, at the University of Cincinnati Hospitals, in Cincinnati, Ohio. His passion for surgery, medicine, and knowledge led, Dr. Buch to complete his Medical Degree (MD) at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2001. An additional year of training in the medical anesthesiology residency program at The University of Cincinnati ensures that Dr. Buch can provide his patients with safe, high quality intravenous anesthetic care. In pursuit of clinical excellence and following his love of traveling, Dr. Buch completed a surgical fellowship at the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit, at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. He has also served as a general dentist in the US Navy and an Oral Surgeon in the U.S. Army reserves. Dr. Buch has substantial private practice experience and has been a partner in a private practice in Virginia and the director of surgery and implant dentistry at a large multispecialty and general dental practice in North Carolina prior to relocating to Arizona in 2010.

Dr. Buch is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (board certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery). He is also a Diplomat of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (board certified in Dental Anesthesiology). Dr. Sharawy received his Oral Surgery training at Cairo University and Ph.D from the University of Rochester in New York. Dr. Sharawy is the Director of the Craniomandibular Research Group at MCG Dental Research Center and Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Professor and Director of Anatomy for Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Sharawy is President of the Anatomical Board for the State of Georgia, Section-Editor for the Journal of Craniomandibular Practice and Co-editor of Orban’s Oral Histology and Embryology, Elsevier.

Dr. Setter received his DDS, Periodontics Specialty Certificate and MS from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry. He is past president of the Michigan Periodontal Association, a fellow of the International College of Dentists and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Implantologists. Dr. Setter serves as a consultant to the computer industry for computer applications in dentistry and patient education software. He has been in private practice limited to periodontics and implant surgery in Port Huron, MI since 1981. Dr. Setter retired from private practice in 2014.

Dr Francis DelucaFRANK R. DELUCA, DMD, JD

Dr. DeLuca received his dental degree the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
Additionally, he received his Juris Doctorate from the Nova Southeastern College of Law.
He is a practicing lawyer specializing in issues related to the practice of dentistry in Fort Lauderdale Florida.
